Eurasian history and memory visual Archive

The Eurasian History and Memory Visual Archive presents a range of documents related to Eurasian identity. The core of the prototype version contains information from seven important families: the Ho Family, the Anderson Family, the Wang Family, the Yung Family, the Eaton Family, the Franking Family and the Afong Family. At the moment, more than 25% of the documents relate to the Ho Family. This family will also be the focus of the expanded archive containing a collection of over 1000 photographs and approximately three hours of 16mm film documenting its history. Besides the families, the archive contains a number of media-images categorized according to the magazines / journals in which they appeared.\n\nThe Eurasian history and memory visual archive is being created in the HyperStudio in collaboration with Professor Emma J. Teng, Associate Professor of Chinese Studies.
